SA Web Directory is a database on the Internet, allowing only South Africans and businesses in South Africa to advertise their businesses and services online without any associated costs.

The directory is user friendly and user driven.  To ensure fast and easy access to the information, we’ve combined the latest technology, leveraging available Internet applications.

For as long as it is affordable to do so, SA Web Directory will continue to provide the portal for business users to advertise and be indexed by major search engines, harnessing the power of the Internet.  Our mission is simple: to strengthen South African business by making web space accessible to the smallest of businesses, allowing them to compete evenly and more effectively in the 21^st century.

The directory was developed in December 2008, far behind other listing directories.  However, having started fairly late, we have been able to structure the online database in a way that allows it to be searched intuitively by the users, eliminating the common and more difficult search methods employed by others.

We trust that this online tool will become widely used, and one of the sources of primary information for users looking for South African services and products.

The web directory is currently supported by Strategian Business Solutions, a management consultancy focusing on Strategy Development and Business Management processes.  The knowledge gained here, working in the business arena, has been applied in the development of the web directory.
